Volleyball Camp Head Coach - Katie O'Neil

Katie O'Neil is fresh out of college, eager to begin the next phase of her life. Having played volleyball for most of her life, this Oregon native is well known in the volleyball world. Her career first blossomed in high school, earning such honors as Gatorade Player of the Year for Oregon, as well as, First-Team All-State and first team Mt. Hood Conference accolades. On a full-ride scholarship, she found a second home in Eugene at the University of Oregon from 2001- 2004, and double majored in English Literature and Spanish. Once there, she took a step down from attacking to specializing in the back row, helping to pioneer the international libero position for the NCAA. Although Oregon Volleyball didn't have loads of success during her stint, O'Neil set a few Pac-10 records worth mentioning: a 43-dig performance against Washington State, good for fourth all-time in Pac-10 history; and, two second-team Pac-10 Conference All-Academic mentions.
